Every month we read a new book that empowers us to expand our sacred awareness, connect with the natural world, and learn real magic.

What to Expect at the Heretic Reading Circle

Each month we’ll be reading a new magical title with a gathering at the end of the month to share wild adventure being immersed in the beautiful magic of the book.

Throughout the month, a private chat will be available to HRC members to discuss the book, explore epiphanies, and find new friends through sharing ideas important to the Soul.

You don’t have to finish the book to participate in the HRC end-of-the-month gathering… you simply have to be immersed in the energies of it.

While you’re reading each book, I recommend trying on the practices it recommends or inspires in your daily life—because magic is a practice and a discipline… not just a spontaneous phenomenon.

During the gathering, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experience with the book, diving deeply into your impressions, the impact it’s had on your life, and anything else you feel called to share.

The point of this gathering is not to dissect or critique the book, but to learn more about ourselves and the world through relationship with this reading material.

The difference between an ordinary book club and the Heretic Reading Circle is that we’re creating a sacred circle where we share our sacred explorations at a deeper level.

Sharing our insights in a group not only helps bring them into our bodies so that we learn them in a deeper way, but it is also a beautiful contribution to others who are engaged in exploration as well.

Practical Info:

• HRC CHAT: Every month, a new chat thread in Mystery, Magic & Mayhem Substack chat will be dedicated to this month’s book.

• GATHERING TIMING: Please plan on 90 minutes for the gathering to make time to hear from everyone who wants to share.

• FACILITATOR: Heretic Reading Circle events will be guided by Visionary Author Allysha Lavino in partnership with Landmark Education facilitator, Kelly Lavino.

• DEEP SHARING: At each gathering, we create a sacred space together to allow the conversation go deeper than an ordinary book club.

• EVENT LINK: The Google Meet link will be sent directly to Heretic Reading Circle members before the event.
